Hiking

Here are a few of our favorite hikes

• Natural Bridge

  • Park near the Woodland Center and Gift shop and take Battleship to Rock Garden. Rock Garden will provide you with a beautiful hike up to Natural Bridge. Once on top enjoy the views and some other various hikes. Take Devil’s Gulch back down to the parking lot.

• Rock Bridge

  • Short but sweet. Hands down one of our favorites! It can get busy on the weekends but the waterfall and arch are beautiful.

• Sky Bridge

  • A beautiful overlook will take you across the arch and then around underneath. Great for sunrise and sunset too.

• Chimney Top Rock

  • Super short. It provides a beautiful overlook with sunrise and sunset views.

• Gray’s Arch

  • Via the Gray’s Arch parking lot is a great loop. You will be able to see the arch and then come back down the opposite ridge line.

  • Via Martin’s Fork follow rough trail up to Grays Arch. For a longer hike continue on to complete the loop and follow Rough Trail back to Martin’s Fork. Or for a shorter option just return the way you came.

• Indian Staircase

  • Start at Bison Way Trail Head. Our favorite way to do this hike is to go up to the ridge line and follow the ridge back on around and then follow the Sheltowee Trace back to the park area.
